Breathe - Ho Chi Wai
First, I have used the black to be the main color for the mask. Since the COVID-19, people need to wear mask whatever we go, and some people feel depress on it. So, I use black to present some negative feeling of masks.
Also, I try to add some natural element such as flower and leaves at the two side of the mask to remind people do not just focus on the negative feeling, try to find some little happiness beside you.
Red - Tran Thi Yen Nhi
My design of this mask is inspired by the combination of volcano and Egyptian.
Because the melted pulp is bright red when the volcano erupts, to make me think about the Egyptian escaped from natural disaster. I think red is bright and express anger.

Harmonious combination of Chinese and Western elements (中西结合) - Yeung Wing Hei
My design is originated from the combination of Chinese and Western elements. The background color of the mask is used Western oil paintings, and the surface of the mask is used the element of multinational style, such as plum blossoms, national clouds, gilded flowers, and garlands. Adding these concepts to the mask can fit the theme. The combination does not affect the aesthetic appreciation, instead, it can be presented in another style.

The rich subsidiary elements represent the hustle and bustle of carnival. It’s like having a laser party in the forest. Everyone has a special style, which makes fashion make greater progress in the new world. The courage to express yourself and progress is the direction of design.
The Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA) was established in September 1975 according to the Industry Training (Clothing Industry) Ordinance to provide training courses for the clothing and textile industry.
The first training center was opened on 19 October 1977 at Lai King, followed by the Kowloon Bay training center opened on 9 November 1984. In the year of 2000, the Authority was successfully accredited with the ISO9001 certification and our quality management system becomes standardized internationally since then. CITA is, in fact, the first Industrial Training organization to obtain such world-class accreditation. In 2007, Fashion Academy was set up to provide various full-time programmes from Technical Diploma to Bachelor degree for secondary school graduates. In 2009, there was a large-scale renovation of the Kowloon Bay training center to upgrade facilities including the exhibition hall, resource centres and shoe-making workshop.
With the rapidly changing technology, CITA has been developing new operations coupled with diversified services such as professional consultancy and industry support services.

I used some flowers design on mu mask because my culture (Pakistan) love to draw some flowers on our hands which is call HENNA , and when I put on this mask , I will feel refreshed because of the flowers ,nowadays everyone must wear a mask , so I think everyone need to be happy although they are wearing a mask ,and when I see flowers it will make me feel very relaxed and happy .

Mask with the Chinese ancient style . The landscape painting on the mask is the traditional Chinese painting called Shanshui .Also with the design details of golden stamp in patterns of plants .

Virtual face mask design competition
During the pandemic, masks represent care and collective strength in the Hong Kong city. In view of its growing importance, Digital Fashion Lab will organize a face mask design competition. Participants will use the latest 3D design software and their imaginary in creating virtual face masks.
Aims :
Provide an opportunity for the participants to learn the use of the latest 3D fashion design technology
Provide an infinite virtual experimentation space for the participants to develop and test their design ideas and extend their creativity to caring others.

The HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme (CPP), supported by the Home Affairs Department, the Social Welfare Department and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, aims to bring people together and to inspire district-based community initiatives to foster a more inclusive society.
Mask represents care and collective strength in the Hong Kong city. This project aims to equip the community with skills in responding to public health threats by fusing mask making technique with the latest virtual fashion technology.

The inspiration of the mask came from post-apocalyptic era, envisioning what mask might look like in the future. The concept is rather abstract than practical, though you never know what the future really looks like. The color scheme of the mask is taken reference from surgical gown and medical casts, the main of the mask shell is made from glass and the straps are made from leather with punctured holes.

You could also remove all accessories on weekdays. The golden buttons and bronzing patterns become the focus independently.
It is a stylish, practical and anti-epidemic design.

This design is about the view of the lake in Chinese style. In my design, it had shown the movement of the water and the swimming fish. Moreover, I have put some of the flowers on the mask both in 3D and 2D. For adding more fun to the mask, I have used some fabrics to make a 3D goldfish. I want to show the elegant impact to mask.

K-Femme - Chow Pui Chu
My mask design concept is coming from Korean culture and what colour they like to use. I want to create a femme style with a personal signature in my design details. Light organza with water print graphic, a signature ribbon bow with high eye-catching winery color as an accent color, these elements we can find in Korean clothing. I also made a double-layer mask to express more 3D shape, and Femme looks on the avatar.

The little elves in the garden are inspired me. To hide their identities, they ventured around and flew to the distance of their homes. They are shy and put on masks with feathers of different colours to recognize each other and prevent dew from getting wet on their faces. In the early morning of spring, they love to dance in the sky, or walk into the flowers, or fly over the valley, enjoying the tranquillity.

Apocalyptical Mask - Lau Shun
Global warming and pandemic, the air is getting worst, and human is destroying the environment, how are we going to survive? Here is the mask that can help us. I used Bauhinia × blakeana and orchids to design the shape of the pieces, Bauhinia × blakeana represent Hong Kong, and it also releases oxygen at day, Orchids represent Chinese and it releases oxygen at night because orchids are plants that rarely see the light in the woods, so they photosynthesize at night to release oxygen. So this mask can help us provide fresh air 24/7.
In future, we might not have as much oxygen nowadays. I hope the flower can provide each of us with enough oxygen in the future, also with the tropical fabric can also protect us from carnivores at the end of the world.

Futuristic Medic - Lee Ka Yee
The inspiration of the mask came from post-apocalyptic era, envisioning what mask might look like in the future. The concept is rather abstract than practical, though you never know what the future really looks like. The color scheme of the mask is taken reference from surgical gown and medical casts, the main of the mask shell is made from glass and the straps are made from leather with punctured holes.

Metallic colours and romantic designs are trendy elements for women's design in recent years. This mask is designed for any occasion. You could pin butterfly-shaped accessories and other accessories on the mask when you are at the party.
You could also remove all accessories on weekdays. The golden buttons and bronzing patterns become the focus independently.
It is a stylish, practical and anti-epidemic design.

K-Femme - Chow Pui Chu
My mask design concept is coming from Korean culture and what colour they like to use. I want to create a femme style with a personal signature in my design details. Light organza with water print graphic, a signature ribbon bow with high eye-catching winery color as an accent color, these elements we can find in Korean clothing. I also made a double-layer mask to express more 3D shape, and Femme looks on the avatar.
Lake Scenery - Liang Yuk Ying
This design is about the view of the lake in Chinese style. In my design, it had shown the movement of the water and the swimming fish. Moreover, I have put some of the flowers on the mask both in 3D and 2D. For adding more fun to the mask, I have used some fabrics to make a 3D goldfish. I want to show the elegant impact to mask.
